Secret Gulch is a secluded 1,874 acre forestland property on the eastern flank of Union Peak. The property is located approximately 1 hour east of Missoula in the Garnet Mountains. There are several perennial streams and springs across the ownership. Two points of entry to the property provides legal access from Highway 200 or from Interstate 90. The property adjoins both public and private lands and controls public access to an entire State section, adding an additional 640 acres of hunting opportunity. Elk, black bear and mule deer are common in the area. Managed for decades for timber production, there is a diversity of habitat from open, south-facing ridgelines to dense cover on northerly aspects draws and retains wildlife to this remote area.
