Purpose-built in 1988 to house Western Montana's premier newspaper, the Missoulian Building is situated on over 3.5 acres of downtown riverfront property in Missoula, Montana. The masonry building offers over 17,000 square feet of open-concept office space on the main level. The walls of this space have borne witness to the most important stories of the last 30 years, and housed reporters telling the story of Missoula growing into the western boomtown that it is today. Massive windows frame the view of the river along the property's northern border. The additional 8,500 square feet on this level currently serves as the paper's distribution center, with exterior access via large garage doors and a loading dock.
